Binnie Media was a proud media sponsor of the 18th Annual Dempsey Challenge in Lewiston on Saturday, May 19th.
For 26 weeks, 8 radio stations from the Midcoast of Maine (105.5 The Wave, 106.9 Frank-Fm) to Portland and Southern Maine (99.9 The Wolf, 107.5 Frank-FM, 99.3 The Wave and 106.3 The Bone) and in New Hampshire’s Seacoast (98.7 Frank-Fm and 98.1 WTSN) promoted this fundraising event and on Saturday, 107.5 FRANK-FM and 99.9 THE WOLF, were positioned on-site at the starting line to support everyone participating!
People from all walks of life, came together to walk, run, or ride in an effort to raise awareness and funds to make life better for people impacted by cancer. Nearly 2 million was raised this year and 100% of those funds will be utilized to provide personalized, holistic services at no cost to cancer patients, survivors, care partners, bereaved individuals, families and loved ones. Founded by actor Patrick Dempsey, this event has raised over $20 million since its inception!
