‘Cares for Kids’ Radiothon 2022: A Record-Breaking Year!

BBCH is Maine’s only full-service children’s hospital, so every dollar donated to the Radiothon directly benefits local Maine families. Funding from events like the Radiothon support BBCH in a variety of ways, from expansion of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to toys and games for patients.

“It’s difficult to put into words the gratitude that we feel for the Binnie team,” said Kate Richardson, Philanthropy Manager at BBCH. “I can think of no better way of demonstrating the power of community than this event. An AMAZING $473,491 was raised…and will undoubtedly make a lifesaving difference in the year ahead.”
