The Pulse of NH (www.thepulseofnh.com) held their 10th Annual “Make 12 Hours Count” Radiothon on Wednesday, May 15th. Over $73,000 was raised during the 12 hour-broadcast (6am-6pm) to benefit Granite State Veterans in need.
Proceeds from the Radiothon will help Veterans deal with the many challenges they face, including returning to civilian life. Veterans Count supports service members and their families, regardless of length of service or discharge status, and services are 100% free and confidential.
The Radiothon featured stories from Veterans and their loved ones, in addition to care coordinators who play an important role in Veterans transitions and their mental and physical well-being.
Governor Chris Sununu proclaimed May 15, 2024 as Veterans Count Day in the State of New Hampshire, as he has done in years past, to draw attention to this great cause and organization.
Hosted by Mike Pomp, Jack Heath, Ginger Munson and 106.3 WHXR’s Mistress Carrie, this year’s Radiothon aired on Binnie Media’s The Pulse of NH Radio Network (107.7 WTPL, 98.1 WTSN, 1073. WEMJ).
