Our annual Season of Wishes campaign benefiting Make-A-Wish® Maine has officially concluded, and once again, we’re grateful for the generosity and commitment shown by our audiences, partners, and local communities across the state.
This year’s campaign exceeded expectations, surpassing our $100,000 fundraising goal and raising a final total of $108,832. That support is enough to help grant 12 wishes — and nearly 13 — for Maine children facing critical illnesses. Each wish represents more than a single moment of happiness; it’s an experience that can provide hope, strength, and something positive to look forward to during an otherwise challenging time.
The funds raised through Season of Wishes directly benefit Maine families who are waiting for their child’s wish to be granted. For many of these families, the journey through serious illness can feel long and uncertain. Having a wish on the horizon offers a sense of optimism and purpose, giving families something to rally around together. These shared experiences often create lasting memories and reinforce the importance of connection during difficult moments.
This year marks the 22nd Make-A-Wish campaign for Binnie Media Maine, a milestone that reflects our longstanding commitment to supporting children and families in our local communities. Our 2025 results reinforce something we’ve seen time and again: no matter what the broader economic landscape looks like, people are willing to step up when the cause is meaningful and the impact is clear.
At its core, Season of Wishes is about aligning what we do on the air with the values of the communities we serve. When our programming speaks authentically to our neighbors and highlights opportunities to make a tangible difference, audiences respond. The success of this year’s campaign is a testament to that shared sense of responsibility and care for Maine’s children.
We’re proud of what was accomplished through Season of Wishes 2025 and thankful to everyone who contributed, participated, and helped spread the word. Together, we continue to prove that community-driven efforts can create real, lasting impact — and help bring hope to families who need it most.
