Binnie Media and its radio stations—107.5 Frank FM, 99.9 The Wolf, 99.3 The Wave, 106.3 The Bone, 98.7 Frank FM, 98.1 WTSN The Pulse of NH—teamed up with Sweetser to present the first-ever ‘Smiles For Sweetser Comedy Show,’ raising more than $11,000 to support mental health services across Maine.
More than 270 guests enjoyed a night of laughter at Portland’s Italian Heritage Center featuring comedians Will Noonan, Rob Steen, Amy Tee, and Gabriel Perez. The event was co-hosted by Holly Nunan of 107.5 Frank FM’s morning show, and Justin Chenette, Sweetser’s Chief Communications Officer, who kept the energy high throughout the evening.
The show’s success was made possible thanks to support from sponsors including Aquaboggan Water Park, Gridiron Restaurant in Lewiston, Ossipee Garage Doors, InterMed, University Credit Union, and One Stop Event Rentals.
With strong community turnout and overwhelming enthusiasm, organizers are already looking ahead to future events. Proceeds from Smiles for Sweetser will help fund Sweetser’s wide range of mental health and wellness programs that provide critical support for children, families, and adults across Maine.
